A Memorable Student Teacher Gift!

16 weeks sharing your personal, everything is in it's place, classroom can be a whirlwind experience!  It's stretches even veteran teachers to, like long ago, see things through young eyes.  Yes, I'm feeling old lately...I used to be the young one!

I was blessed to have a great student teacher and a wonderful experience!  Near the end of those 16 weeks together...yes, I said 16 weeks, we began working as a well oiled machine!

Thank you Erin Condren for helping me to make my student teacher's parting gift memorable AND functional!  Using my Silhouette Cameo and the PixScan mat, I was able to cut out the student's signatures and apply each one of them to the back of an Erin Condren Teacher Planner!

How to Make Cute Stickers in Your Erin Condren Planner

These are a few of my favorite things...and then I don't feel so bad!  

Okay okay, you might not break out into songs from The Sound of Music but you will flip for making your own stickers!

After you have your schedule set (blog post here), you need to find clip art you love!

You can find this adorable clip art set from Educlips here!

I would go INSANE (too late) trying to cut these out perfectly so I print these out on Avery Clear Full Sheet Labels!

 Then I just create a powerpoint and line up each picture, print,...

cut them into squares,...

 peel off the backing...

 ...and press onto my page!  Look Russ!  No lines! (Yep!  I'm a National Lampoon's fan!)

You can also use a Silhouette Cameo cutting machine!  It's a lot easier (and fun) to use!

Erin Condren Planner Ideas that Will Make You Happy

Erin Condren Teacher Planners are UH-MAZING!  

You can "pimp out your planner " (coined by my principal) by adding clip art, washi tape, and stickers.  A coupon code is at the very end of this post!  (Love coupons!)

 Set your schedule!  It's not fun writing your schedule in every week, but sticking a sticker on IS fun!  You can get this template for FREE from Stephanie at 3rd Grade Thoughts here!  

I found it really easy to print on Avery Full Sheet White Labels!  Simply type your schedule, print, cut, and stick!

This is my favorite part...clip art!!

Add skinny washi for dividing your day.  I use it show lunch.  My class eats at 10:55 so we actually call it brunch!

Washi tape the edges of each page to divide by quarters!  I love this!  It makes the pages easier to turn and it clearly marks each quarter for planning purposes!

Store extra stickers in the pouch in the back.  Getting ready for the next week can happen in a snap!
